Jack Volinski is a senior vice president responsible for HSB Global Standards, HSB’s international fee-based boiler and pressure vessel inspection services business. He has held this position since 2005.
Mr. Volinski began his career with HSB in 2000 as senior controller for the engineering division of HSB. In 2002, he was named president of Global Standards and vice president of finance for The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Connecticut (HSB-CT).
Prior to joining HSB, Mr. Volinski was vice president of finance for S&S Worldwide in Colchester, Conn. , a position he held from 1995 to 2000. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Volinski was chief financial officer for Anderson Group Inc., and from 1990 to 1993 controller for The J.M. Ney Company, a company that was subsequently acquired by Anderson Group Inc.
Mr. Volinski began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, formerly Coopers & Lybrand, in Hartford, Conn., where he was a senior audit manager. He provided audit and special services to a variety of public and private companies in several industries, including public utility, manufacturing and education.
Mr. Volinski holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in accounting from The University of Connecticut. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He has served on the Board of Directors and on the executive and investment committees for the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and is a graduate of the Leadership Greater New Haven Program.
