Getting Started

Organizations interested in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 certification should complete an Application located on the Request Quote page of this website and submit it using the instructions on the Application. Should HSB RS not be able to provide certification services, the organization will be notified.

An on-site evaluation of the management system, on all or a portion of the standard requirements, to determine the level of system implementation and readiness for the Stage 2 audit.

An audit, to compare the management system documentation to the standard requirements, to assure that all are addressed and to determine readiness for the Stage 2 audit.

An audit of the management system for compliance to all the standard requirements and verification of sufficient implementation.

The duration of this audit is based on:

• number of employees
• number of facilities/sites
• number of registrations required

An audit of the management system, on a portion of the standard requirements, to monitor and verify continued system compliance, effectiveness, improvements, and changes. Over a three year period all standard requirements will be evaluated.

An audit of the management system to verify the continued fulfillment of all of the standard requirements.

HSB RS shall, in response to an application for expanding the scope of a certification already granted, undertake a review of the application and determine any audit activities necessary to decide whether or not the extension may be granted. This may be conducted in conjunction with a surveillance audit.

HSB RS requires all requests for expanding the scope of certification be approved by the Technical Manager prior to the auditor going on site. The approval must be documented.

Each Certificate of Registration proposed for reduction shall be reviewed by the Certification Manager.

HSB RS will reduce the scope of certification to exclude the allowable exclusions from the applicable standard, (ISO 9001), if the client has persistently or seriously failed to meet the certification requirements. If the exclusion is not applicable per the standard, the certification manager may withdraw the certification.
