Wade Bolin is Chief Claims Officer and senior vice president.
Prior to joining HSB in August 2012, Mr. Bolin held several positions of increasing responsibility at The Hartford Insurance Group. Throughout his career, Mr. Bolin has demonstrated ability to lead and drive organizational transformation, build and develop high-performance individuals, teams and operations, and deliver results. He has a track record of success in leading multiple and diverse operations to include claims, call centers and processing centers.
Most recently, Mr. Bolin was senior vice president of field claims accountable for property/casualty claims across The Hartford’s multi-line claims operations. In this capacity, Mr. Bolin was responsible for ensuring execution of strategies, programs, practices and processes that resulted in the delivery of accurate and timely claim outcomes as well as superior customer service.
Prior to leading The Hartford’s field claims operations, Mr. Bolin was vice president of The Hartford’s workers’ compensation field claims operations, a position he held from 2002 to 2010. Relative to other senior leadership roles, Mr. Bolin was the vice president of claims business and customer development from 2001 to 2002 in Hartford, CT, and regional vice president of personal lines automobile and homeowner’s claims from 1996 to 2001 in Phoenix, AZ. Leading up to these roles, Mr. Bolin held claims leadership position in Atlanta, Nashville and Hartford.
Mr. Bolin began his career at The Hartford in Birmingham, AL as a claim representative trainee in 1982.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. He also studied business management at the University of Alabama and the University of Montevallo.
