Our bespoke service will examine:
- the internal enclosed parts of a power press by applying the 'Magnetic Particle Inspection' method to detect surface and sub-surface flaws of safety-critical components that are not normally exposed for inspection at the recommended examination frequencies.
- the electrical supply and control systems to apply a visual examination, insulation resistance, earth loop impedance, and earth continuity tests to detect potential serious electrical defects; such as overheating, short circuits, insulation deterioration, and damage to the electrical components.
What we will deliver
- The provision of in-house Engineering Consultants who are certified to 'ASNT Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection' and 'BS767: Requirements for Electrical Installation'.
- Application of the 'Magnetic Particle Procedure' for the requirements of HSG236.
- Detailed non-destructive testing and electrical reports.
- A thorough inspection of all mechanical/electrical safety-critical components.
