Lauren Tredinnick

Lauren began her career with Munich  Re as a Risk Analyst as part of the Graduate Trainee Program in 2008 before joining the Public Entity Risk Solutions (PERS) underwriting team. With a BBA from Wisconsin School of Business in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance, she went on to obtain her MBA at DePaul University and CPCU designation. In her “free time,” Lauren is a Sergeant First Class and Platoon Leader for the 132D Army Band of the WI National Guard. As a member of several ensembles, Lauren plays the saxophone and is the emcee for performances.

David Pesce
Head of Surety  
Munich Re Specialty Insurance

David is Head of Surety for Munich Re Specialty Insurance. Throughout his 36 years of industry experience, David held various underwriting and operations positions with a number of major surety carriers. Previously, he led the expansion of a specialty insurance company’s surety operations prior to its acquisition by another carrier.  

David holds the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation and is an officer on the CFMA Certification Board, in addition to memberships in numerous professional organizations.  

He is a frequent speaker on timely surety topics. David earned   B.S. in Mathematics from Lafayette College. In his spare time, he likes to golf, snowboard, and ski.

Rachael Dougherty

Based in MRSI’s San Francisco, CA office, Rachael has ten years of experience in the insurance industry with eight years as a property underwriter.  She has a particular interest in learning about regional wildfire risks and their associated mitigation practices and technologies. Rachael obtained her B.A. in English from Temple University.

Kevin Johnson is President of North American Programs for Munich Re Specialty Insurance (MRSI), a specialty commercial insurance unit of Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. (Munich Re US) in North America. In this role, he is responsible for the new programs development, in-force management, profitability and growth of the $1B GWP+ Program Business underwriting portfolio.
