Jascha Prosiegel is the Head of Insurtech Programs at Munich Re Specialty, where he oversees the partnerships with automation- and AI-focused MGAs. His team is an active contributor in the industry dialogue around smart technology usage. Since taking over the role in 2025, they have expanded the portfolio, covering a broad range of MGAs across Property and Casualty lines.

Jascha joined Munich Re in 2014 in Munich, Germany, and, over the years, he has taken on various strategic roles in primary insurance and reinsurance, focusing on specialty lines underwriting, product development, and innovation with a global footprint. In 2021, he relocated to San Francisco to build out the US business for the newly established artificial intelligence underwriting team, co-managed by HSB and Munich Re. He holds degrees in mathematics and is a certified actuary.
