Brady Thomas is Assistant Vice President and Inland Marine Regional Underwriting Manager at Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets North America, where he leads the growth of the Northeast and Midwest portfolios. With over two decades of experience in specialty insurance, Brady is recognized for his expertise in construction, fine arts, and complex inland marine underwriting.

Prior to joining Munich Re, Brady held senior roles at CNA, Catlin, Travelers, and The Hartford, managing multi-million dollar books of business and spearheading innovative underwriting solutions for complex risks. Brady is a veteran of the US Marine Corps Reserve, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts from Michigan State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is an active member of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association, serving on both the Construction and Art & Record Committees.

Brady is passionate about mentoring underwriters, advancing manuscript coverages, and driving operational excellence in the specialty insurance sector.
