Curriculum Vitae

Laura Kettleday joined HSB UK and Ireland in 2013 and has held the role of Executive Assistant to HSB's Chief Executice Officer since May 2023. Laura is responsible for projects and deliverables as delegated by the CEO including, currently, establishment and enhancement of HSB UK & Ireland's Data Governance Framework. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Chief Risk Officer from 2020 to May 2023, Financial Controller from 2018 to 2020 and prior to that, held various finance roles in HSB; initially joining in 2013 as Solvency II Project Lead.

Laura has 15 years of insurance industry experience, including six years at RSA where she lead the UK Commercial Financial Reporting Team. Prior to joining RSA, Laura spent five years as an Auditor with KPMG.

Laura graduated from Durham University in 2002 with a BA in Mathematics and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. Laura holds the Institute of Risk Management International Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management.
