Anya O'Reilly joined HSB UK and Ireland in September 2014 and was appointed to Chief Financial and Operating Officer in 2022, responsible for the financial management and strategic direction of the organisation, including operational oversight of the Operations Division (comprising the Finance, Legal & Compliance, IT & Data, HR and Marketing & Customer Experience functions).

From 2014 to 2022, Anya held the role of Finance Director, responsible for the financial management of the company and overseeing the risk function.

Anya is a Chartered Accountant, with over 25 years’ experience in financial management, audit and accounting in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining HSB, Anya spent five years at Royal London Mutual Insurance Society where she was Head of Financial Reporting. Prior to this, Anya spent 14 years at accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, specialising in financial services audit and advisory work (which included spending two years in Thailand).

Anya graduated from Liverpool University in 1995 with a 2:1 in Accountancy and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.
