Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations

Legislation places duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment.

A wide range of equipment is covered; from lifts to cranes and hoists, fork-lift trucks to mobile elevating work platforms, and many other types of plant.

The Regulations also include lifting tackle and accessories (for example, chains, slings, eye bolts, etc).
