HSB (UK & Ireland) appoints new CEO

• Andrew Burke appointed as new CEO of HSB UK & Ireland
• Burke brings over 30 years' experience within the financial services and insurance sectors
• Burke previously served as CEO of DAS UK Group

HSB (UK & Ireland), a leading specialist engineering insurance and inspection services provider, has announced the appointment of Andrew Burke as its new Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approval. 

Burke provides significant senior leadership experience to HSB

Andrew Burke brings more than 30 years' of insurance and financial services experience to his newly appointed position. Prior to joining HSB, Andrew served as CEO of DAS UK Group. During his time at DAS, he led a team focused on the business's critical strategic partnerships in the UK market.

Before DAS UK Group, Andrew Burke spent thirteen years at RSA Insurance Group in various leadership roles. These included Strategic Partnerships Director in the UK, CEO of Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and CEO of Emerging Markets where Andrew demonstrated his multi-distribution channel expertise to drive strong growth and financial results.

Burke underlines HSB's strengths as a specialist insurer

In his new role, Burke will head HSB UK and Ireland's operations, consisting of its insurance, inspection, and building warranty businesses.

Burke replaces Stephen Worrall following his decision to leave the business earlier this year.
