HSB appoints new Managing Director of its warranty and building control division

• David Swigciski appointed as Managing Director of Premier Guarantee
• Swigciski brings 20 years of experience within the insurance sector
• He will lead HSB's warranty and building control division in the UK, which includes the Premier Guarantee brand

Specialist engineering and technology insurer, HSB, has appointed David Swigciski as the new Managing Director of Premier Guarantee. Swigciski succeeds Jacki Goodman following her retirement at the end of 2023.

Reporting to Stephen Worrall, CEO of HSB UK and Ireland, Swigciski will lead the development and progress of HSB’s warranty and building control business under the Premier Guarantee brand. In addition to driving business growth, he will also focus on strengthening technical and service capabilities to provide an enhanced customer experience. 

David Swigciski brings specialist insurance experience to HSB

Previously Director of Client Service at DAS UK Group, Swigciski brings with him 20 years of specialist insurance experience, and a proven track record for growing insurance businesses sustainably and profitably. Throughout his career, David has been influential in shaping market-leading teams across underwriting, pricing, business development, continuous improvement, and operational service.

At DAS and RSA, David led on a number of strategic and operational improvements for specialty insurance businesses, situated in the engineering, marine and power, and construction sectors.
