Curriculum Vitae

Adabel Asinugo joined HSB UK and Ireland in 2023 as Chief Risk Officer, responsible for implementing HSB's risk management framework to identify, quantify, mitigate and monitor key risks facing the business.

Prior to joining HSB, Adabel spent five years at HDI Global UK and Ireland as Head of Risk Management and Sustainability, where she built the Risk Management Framework and Function. Adabel has over a decade of insurance industry experience. 

Adabel graduated from Aston University in 2012 with a BSc with Honors in Economics and Management, and completed an MSc in Insurance and Risk Management from Bayes Business school in 2013. Adabel holds the Institute of Risk Management International Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management.
