Dii GmbH is holding its first annual conference in Barcelona in support of its vision to create a large-scale renewable energy source from the deserts of the Middle East and North Africa. The conference brings together diverse parties from the key interest groups in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East as well as representatives of the 17 Dii Associated Partners and the DESERTEC Foundation. The aim is to implement the vision and build a bridge between Africa and Europe, thus ensuring the future energy generation for large parts of North Africa and supplying power to Europe.
