We recommend policyholders to address their questions about policy or claims submissions directly to their agents. The agents we authorise are responsible for assessing risks, issuing policies and handling claims on behalf of Great Lakes. You may reach your agent or intermediary as stated on your insurance policy or supplementary material.

Please also contact our agents directly regarding a complaint. Agents are required to satisfy your complaints according to our standards and follow complaint handling rules established by local legislation. This is part of our agreement with them.

If your complaint is about a UK product and you remain unhappy after our agent provides a final response or eight weeks have passed, whichever is sooner, you may ask the UK Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) to carry out an independent review of your complaint.
