General description
The global risk landscape is changing rapidly, with direct impacts on Property Insurance and Business Interruption. Geopolitical tensions are reshaping global supply chains and creating challenges on an unprecedented scale. Risks now go far beyond conventional supply chain disruptions and directly influence exposures and the complexity of claims scenarios.
This seminar explores several major events that have reshaped global supply chains in recent years. Drawing on actual claims experience, it provides a brief overview of the impacts of COVID-19, inflationary pressures, trade tariffs, and tensions in the Middle East. Through practical case studies, participants will examine how these events affected supply chain resilience and led to very different claims outcomes.
The seminar also reviews the strategies companies are using to strengthen supply chain resilience, highlights the challenges associated with implementing these measures, and considers which approaches have proven most effective in reducing losses and mitigating disruption.
