Correction of an announcement according to Section 25a of the WpHG [German Securities Trading Act]

Morgan Stanley, New York, USA has informed us on 6 June 2012 of the following correction to its notification of 15 May - which we published on 21 May 2012 - pursuant to Section 25a of the WpHG:

Due to an error in calculation, Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft in München, Munich, was erroneously reported as exceeding the 5% threshold as at 11 May 2012 by Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc, Morgan Stanley UK Group, Morgan Stanley Group (Europe), Morgan Stanley International Limited, Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc and Morgan Stanley. The notifications should be disregarded, and it is duly confirmed that the voting rights held by the above companies in Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft in München pursuant to Section 25a WpHG did not exceeded the threshold of 5% as at 11 May 2012 and remains less than 5%, as at 6 June 2012.
