Finance
As an employee in the central finance department, among other things, you optimize our investment planning. With your reports, you ensure that customer claims are processed reliably and quickly. Or would you rather keep an eye on the KPIs? At one of the world's leading reinsurers, the finance teams handle a wide variety of tasks. No matter what you choose to specialize in, your expertise will contribute to Munich Re's success.
Human Resources
You play a key role in Munich Re's success due to the fact that you are responsible for the heart of Munich Re: our employees. You expand horizons and support colleagues in advancing their professional development. As part of our Talent Acquisition Team, for example, you will identify talent that is a perfect fit for the company. As an HR Business Partner or Learning & Development expert, you will accompany our employees from day one of their career. Or you can work in Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, Talent Management or in another HR team on the key to Munich Re's success.
Communication
You give Munich Re a voice, as you translate our Group strategy into strong messages that have an impact externally. Whether as part of our global corporate communications department, internal communications or as a strategic communications expert, you are in constant dialogue with internal stakeholders and the media. For example, you manage our brand communications, advise our company on the targeted communication of facts and ideas, or support your colleagues in fine-tuning their messages and reaching their target groups.
Compliance and Legal Department
As an expert in our Compliance and Legal department, you will work with multidisciplinary teams, act as a legal advisor or fulfill a control function for reinsurers and primary insurers. For example, you are involved in the organization of the annual general meeting and are a competent contact for our shareholders.
Purchasing
As a professional buyer for a leading global reinsurance company, the focus of your work is directed externally. You work with stakeholders at Munich Re as well as suppliers from different areas and acquire extensive cross-sector knowledge. You will be responsible for numerous projects, e.g. purchasing products and services, negotiating and managing contracts. You balance quality, cost, and time while ensuring transparency, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.
