    Company History

Munich Re: The Company History 1880-1980 is a book by historians Johannes Bähr and Christopher Kopper about our corporate history. From the company's founding in 1880 and through the years of challenges it has faced, especially as a result of the two world wars, it is an excellent resource for learning more about our head office and international organization. The book is available for order in Hardcover format or can be downloaded as an e-book here (PDF, 30 MB).
