With more than 25 years at Munich Re, Mr. Goehrke has held a range of underwriting leadership roles across the organization. Today, he works closely with internal pricing actuaries and carrier underwriters to support risk assessment and underwriting governance. His team oversees carrier underwriting program assessments at treaty, underwriting audits and claims reviews, Individual Disability underwriting, and Munich Re’s MIRA Pro underwriting manual.
Attention to detail not only protects the insurer from potential losses but also ensures that applicants are treated fairly and receive the coverage they need. It starts with getting the correct history upfront and verifying with the proper evidence.
