Sean Kim
Head of M&A Solutions, Financial Reinsurance
An experienced leader with broad knowledge across life insurance and reinsurance, Mr. Kim crafts reinsurance solutions that deliver risk management and financial support for mergers and acquisitions in the life insurance and annuity industry. Prior to this role, he led Individual Life business development activities, working closely with US life carriers to develop bespoke solutions to support their business strategies.
Mr. Kim joined Munich Re’s Toronto-based Global Actuarial Consulting Group in 2015, where he led a large team of consultants working on global initiatives. Before joining Munich Re, Mr. Kim worked at a direct carrier in a variety of roles. He has extensive experience across product development, management and pricing, inforce management, financial reporting, and distribution management.
