Victor Rose has worked in the healthcare and non-profit sector for 30 years, serving in various executive and leadership roles. Currently, he serves as ECRI’s Executive Director of Aging and Ambulatory Care, coordinating business development and consulting in safety, risk management, and quality improvement to providers nationwide and across the aging care continuum. Before joining ECRI, he served as Director of Operations (COO role) for 17 years with a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community leading direct care, support service delivery (e.g., environmental services, dining services, human services), and administration (e.g., operational finance, annual planning, staffing and scheduling, admissions and discharges, licensing surveys, risk management, and emergency preparedness and response). He has taught management at DeSales University, served on LeadingAge PA’s Public Policy Committee, and authored numerous healthcare management and aging services articles and white papers. Victor holds a BS in management (healthcare concentration) from the University of North Carolina – Asheville, an MBA from DeSales University, is a Fellow at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania.

Mike Midgley is an experienced healthcare risk manager, nurse, insurance professional, attorney and professor. He began his clinical career as a nurse in intensive care and emergency medicine. He started his healthcare risk management career with a captive insurance company in New York City, having dedicated risk and claims management consulting responsibilities to a major tertiary care medical center. He then served as a risk manager at academic medical centers in New York City. Mike later worked in the field as a risk management consultant, underwriter, product development manager, business development manager, and compliance officer with medical malpractice insurance carriers. He is on faculty for Loyola Law School, where he teaches leadership and strategic planning and serves as faculty for the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM). Mike is currently the Head of Loss Control for Munich Re Specialty. Mike is a New York licensed attorney and is a member of the NY State Bar Association. He earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Fordham University School of Law. He has a master's degree in public health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and a BS in nursing from Rutgers University School of Nursing. He is a Distinguished Fellow of ASHRM (DFASHRM) for superior achievement and has earned Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) designation.
