Munich Re America Appoints Cheryl Jones to Head of Human Resources

Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. (Munich Re America) has appointed Cheryl Jones to the Head of Human Resources; she will also join the Munich Re America Executive Leadership Team. In her new role, Cheryl will lead the talent strategy, focusing on driving efficiency and enhancing employee engagement, retention, and recruitment. She will report to Tony Kuczinski, President and Chief Executive Officer, Munich Re America.
“Over the last several years, Cheryl has been an important strategic advisor to the leadership team as we assess our talent needs and plan for the future,” said Kuczinski. “We are excited to have her leadership as we continue to evolve our company and our culture to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world.”
Cheryl joined the company in 2014 as a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner after more than a decade in financial services HR roles. In 2015, she was appointed to Head of HR Business Partners with responsibility for leading the talent strategy for Munich Re America and as a member of the US Regional HR Leadership Team.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Rider University. She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
