But what if you no longer had to spend hours searching for the perfect words? Imagine if you could simply share your thoughts with your app and it would magically generate the ideal text for your posts. This is no longer a dream of the future - thanks to the fusion of GEN AI and low-code app development, this vision is becoming a reality. Let's dive into the fascinating world where voice control and artificial intelligence are ushering in a new era of content creation.

    Day 2 - 07 October 2025

    Speaker:

    Salim Hlayel
Senior Product Manager - Oracle APEX, Oracle

Enterprise Resource Planning systems are great for operating and managing your business. But in some cases, the business requirements can't be met easily by configuring your ERP. In this session, we specifically discuss the method to extend your Oracle E-Business Suite ERP using the most popular enterprise Low Code platform, Oracle APEX.

    Speaker:

    Sonja Meyer
Consulting Member of Technical Staff for Low-Code, Oracle

APEX development has always been low-code oriented to give every developer the opportunity to write elegant applications without much effort. With a future APEX release, power users whose primary development environment is an IDE will now be better supported, with Git and CI/CD as a matter of course.

APEX development moves closer to modern software processes: With APEXLang Grammar, the application finally becomes text-based, git-friendly and automatable - perfect for clean CI/CD pipelines. Builds can be clearly structured, changes can be tracked and deployments can be automated. Whether in a team or solo: with SQLcl, Git and APEXLang, low-code becomes a real dev flow. And if you think ahead, you will find new scope: language models can now be integrated into APEX in a targeted and context-controlled manner.

Smart Project Management with AI Assisted Development - Part 1*

In this hands-on lab, you will build a dynamic and interactive application using Oracle APEX AI Assistant. This lab is designed to showcase how AI-driven features of Oracle APEX can accelerate application development and simplify complex tasks, helping you create powerful applications with ease.

You will begin by creating a data model with the assistance of AI, quickly setting up the foundation for your application. Once the data model is ready, you will use the APEX Assistant to build an initial application framework, highlighting how AI can simplify and speed up the development process.

Next, you will customize your application using Oracle APEX low-code features, making adjustments with pre-built components that streamline the enhancement process. You also learn how to generate SQL queries with the help of APEX Assistant, simplifying the creation of complex queries for your application.

As you progress, you integrate AI-powered text generation into your application, enabling it to dynamically create and utilize text content. You will also implement an AI chat assistant by leveraging the Show AI Assistant dynamic Action of APEX of APEX, providing a responsive interface for real-time user interaction.

Finally, you will create a search page using Oracle Vector Search, adding advanced search capabilities to your application. By the end of this lab, you will have practical experience in using AI with Oracle APEX to efficiently build, customize, and enhance feature-rich applications.
