CDG: ADR/RID certification services
HSB helps you navigate the EU regulations regarding the Carriage of Dangerous Goods (CDG), which includes ADR for road and RID for rail transport across Europe. We provide design, audit, inspection, testing, and certification for tanks, containers, and transportable pressure equipment — ensuring your assets meet EU regulatory standards for the safe carriage of hazardous goods.
DOT and TC inspection and approval
In accordance with 49CFR and CSA B339, HSB is an Independent Inspection Agency (IIA) and Designated Approval Agency (DAA) for U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT ‒ PHMSA) and Certifying Inspection Agency for Transport Cananda (TC). HSB supports manufacturers with certification for cylinders, cargo tanks, and MEGCs. We manage design, audits, retesting, and ongoing inspections.
TPED and UK TPE dual certification
HSB is both a Notified Body (EU) and UK Appointed Body — offering dual “Pi” and “Rho” mark certification to place pressure equipment on both markets. We streamline compliance with Chapter 6.2 and 6.8 requirements, offering full lifecycle support.
Maritime transport certification
We offer IMDG code compliance, CSC inspections, and container design approvals under CCC and TIR conventions. HSB helps ensure your containers, MEGCs, and tanks meet international maritime safety and customs standards.
