ISO 19443 certification adopts and enhances the principles of ISO 9001 to provide you the confidence that your management system can consistently provide products and services that meet regulatory, statutory, customer, and stakeholder requirements.
Hartford Steam Boiler Ireland Limited (HSB) provides management system certification to organizations in the supply chain of the Nuclear Energy Sector.
It is the policy of HSB to provide independent engineering inspection services of the highest standards in accordance with its customer’s requirements and those of all relevant statutory provisions. HSB understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its certification activities, we manage conflicts of interest and ensure the objectivity of our certification activities.
HSB Ireland is a self-funded, independent certification and inspection body.
Certification
HSB offers the following certification, under the ISO 19443 Certification Scheme:
ISO19443 certification of Quality Management Systems supplying products and services important to Nuclear Safety (ITNS)
Clients may apply for certification of their Quality Management System for the following technological sectors for activities Important To Nuclear Safety (ITNS).

Policies and Procedures
HSB maintains and operates an integrated quality management system incorporating procedures which define and control the operation of all aspects of our Company. The quality management system is designed to comply with relevant International Quality Standards, EN ISO/IEC 17020 Type A inspection body, EN ISO/IEC 17024, EN ISO/IEC 17065 and EN ISO/IEC 17021-1.
