Biography

Neil MacMillan was appointed as Non-Executive Director for HSB Engineering Insurance in July 2025.

Neil has over 30 years' experience at senior management level in financial and professional services organisations, lastly as Group Chief Risk Officer at the RSA Group and finally at EY's insurance consulting arm.

For the last 12 years, Neil has been an independent Non-Executive Director in the insurance industry, holding board directorships previously at Allied World and Hannover Re. In addition to HSB, Neil is also presently the Chair at ARAG UK, a privately-owned legal expenses insurer.
