    One body, two approvals

    Post-Brexit transport regulations require different certifications for placing certain pressure equipment intended to carry type 2 gases in the UK or EU market. HSB is both a Notified Body under the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED) and an Appointed Body under the UK Transportable Pressure Equipment (TPE) framework. Through the certification process, we help manufacturers and owners comply with Chapter 6.2 and 6.8 standards while enabling efficient dual-marking with the Pi and Rho symbols.
