Munich Re Day of Service featured in Winter 2013 edition of I.I.I.'s Impact magazine

The Winter 2013 edition of Impact magazine describes Munich Re's Day of Service, among a number of other charitable service activities supported by a variety of insurance companies and industry organizations.

Munich Re's Day of Service took place on September 17, 2013 when nearly three hundred employees from Munich Re's Princeton, New Jersey headquarters donated their time and talents to one of four community organizations: The American Red Cross, The Community FoodBank of NJ, Crawford House and The Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County.

The article also describes the company's annual fundraising activities for Eden Autism Services, employee fundraising efforts on behalf of March for Babies and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the annual Wish Tree program, which supports local charities at the holidays.

Also in this issue of Impact: the Industry Charitable Foundation's (IICF) early literacy program, I.I.I. employee volunteers assist with Hurricane Sandy rebuilding efforts, donated smoke alarms in Texas, and more.

Impact is published twice a year by The Insurance Information Institute to highlight the insurance industry's contributions to community development
