Pina Albo awarded IICF’s inaugural Women in Insurance Luminary Leadership award

Reinsurance division president Pina Albo was awarded the inaugural Women in Insurance Luminary Leadership Award by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.

“A luminary leader is a person of prominence that has not only achieved success in her field but is also an inspiration to others,” said Bill Ross, Chief Executive Officer of the IICF. “Pina has encouraged and inspired all of us. It is a privilege and my honor to have presented this award to such a dynamic leader.”

The award was presented in conjunction with the Women in Insurance Global Conference held June 12, 13 and 14 in New York City. The conference is a first-of-its kind gathering includes 400 speakers and attendees from around the world and features presentations ranging from changing mindsets that limit corporate diversity to remaining professionally relevant in the rapidly changing business environment.

Munich Reinsurance America’s involvement in the conference reflects and underscores the deep commitment to diversity and inclusion not only within Munich Re, but throughout the entire insurance industry.
