Augmented reality is reality whether we know it or not. As the market for smart devices that track physical activity grows, the more data accumulates. How can the insurance industry segment this data for use in stratifying the mortality risk profile in the US?  What tools can we build to augment the underwriting process?

Based on clinical research provided by Vivametrica this paper makes several conclusions about the specific metrics that can be used to identify mortality risk  and applications for data coming in from wearable technology.
