Shawn Elliott
Senior Vice President, North America People and Workplace Experience

Shawn Elliott is Vice President of People and Workplace Experience at Munich Re North America (Life and Health) and a member of the U.S. executive leadership team. Mr. Elliott leads the Human Resources, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams – overseeing all aspects of talent and HR management practices across the U.S. and Canada.

Mr. Elliott joined Munich Re in 2009 as a Talent Consultant. In 2011, he assumed the role of AVP of Talent Management supporting the North America Life organization and later spent two years in working Munich, where he led global talent program initiatives. In 2015, Mr. Elliott became the Global Head of Talent Sourcing and Employer Branding. He returned to Munich Re Canada (Life) as Vice President of HR and Workplace Experience in April 2017.

Prior to joining Munich Re, Mr. Elliott was Director of Recruitment at TELUS, where he oversaw the strategy and operations for all facets of talent acquisition and has more than 25 years of HR management experience.
