Our business is written exclusively via Lloyd's brokers and focuses on providing liability products in the following areas:

• Marine - liabilities arising out of the ownership or operation of watercraft (P&I and charterers) and the supporting maritime industries, such as shipbuilders/repairers, ports, terminals, marinas and other marine liabilities
• Upstream Energy - liabilities arising from the upstream oil and gas sector, including the search for, and the drilling and production of, natural resources, plus any related construction, dismantling or removal operations. We also specialise in liability products for renewable energy sources, such as wind or wave power

In addition to our underwriting expertise, Munich Re Syndicate Limited also has an in-house resource for risk management which can be utilised for site surveys, asset reviews and as a client technical liaison on safety issues.
