Terry Dyson reflects on his career in insurance
Terry Dyson's distinguished career in insurance began in 1986 at National Vulcan Engineering Group (previously part of the Sun Alliance Group). From there, Terry has held a variety of senior roles in the insurance industry, from front-line sales to strategic leadership.
Reflecting on his career and impending retirement, Dyson said: "I am so grateful for everything the insurance industry has given me. I'm also proud of the difference I've made, and the success I've been able to deliver throughout my career. I'd particularly like to thank the many people who have helped me, mentored me and supported me along the way."
"I'll be ensuring a smooth transition between now and the end of March, before moving to the touchline as HSB's biggest supporter and advocate as they realise their exciting future plans."
Andrew Burke, CEO at HSB, said: "Terry has worked in the insurance industry for 40 years, six of those with HSB UK & Ireland, and will be missed. I'm looking forward to working closely with Terry and his team to continue our momentum going into 2026."
