The Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada remains a Full Partner of the Broker Identity Program for 2017
The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce that The Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada (BI&I), part of Munich Re, has maintained its support of the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Full Partner level.
The program’s centre piece is the BIP symbol known as the BIPPER. The symbol captures the value that insurance brokers bring their clients: choice, advice, security and peace of mind. By investing in the program, BI&I supports the campaign whose purpose is to raise awareness of the value of the insurance broker distribution network.
“A strong independent broker channel is crucial to the health and success of the insurance business,” said Dave Picot, BI&I’s Chief Operating Officer. “BI&I fully supports IBAC’s efforts to promote and advocate on behalf of our valued partners to government and the community at large.”
IBAC Chief Executive Officer Peter Braid added: “BI&I understands the benefits of branding. Like insurance brokers, BI&I is committed to providing excellent service to their clients. Brokers are grateful of the support and vote of confidence they receive from BI&I.”
Launched in 1988, the mission of the Broker Identity Program is to promote the value and professionalism of the insurance broker to consumers, insurers and governments. It is a branding campaign for over 36,000 insurance brokers.
