    NatCatSERVICE is Munich Re's global natural catastrophe loss database, built on decades of data collection and research. Covering natural catastrophe events and losses worldwide since 1980, it is one of the world's most comprehensive databases on natural disasters and their impacts. It provides the foundation for Munich Re's publications, research and catastrophe insights.

    NatCatSERVICE is a proprietary Munich Re database. While Munich Re publishes extensive analyses and statistics derived from the database, the underlying event-level dataset is not made available externally.

    All NatCatSERVICE loss figures and charts published on munichre.com may be used free of charge as per our copyright policy, provided they are appropriately attributed to Munich Re, NatCatSERVICE.
