Publication of members’ participation in meetings

With the exception of two members of the Supervisory Board, all members incumbent at the end of the 2017 financial year attended more than 75% of the meetings of the full Supervisory Board. Renata Jungo Brüngger and Dr. Maximilian Zimmerer have only been members of the Supervisory Board since 2017. In the first year of her membership, Renata Jungo Brüngger was only able to attend 50% of the meetings. Dr. Maximilian Zimmerer participated in two of three Supervisory Board meetings, equivalent to an attendance of 66%. The fact that Supervisory Board meetings are arranged several years in advance meant that Renata Jungo Brüngger and Dr. Maximilian Zimmerer had an unavoidable collision of appointments in the first year of their memberships of the Supervisory Board. Professor Peter Gruss, who was unable to attend any meetings in 2017, chose to step down from the Supervisory Board in order to pursue a new role in Japan.

The average attendance of meetings of the full Supervisory Board by members incumbent at the end of the 2017 financial year was 94%. The attendance of all committee meetings was 100%.

Members of the Supervisory Board who were unable to take part in meetings sent apologies and generally cast their votes in writing.
