    General description

Insurers have needed agility to respond to the rapidly evolving cyber landscape, with a significant focus on systemic risk. Pricing has changed, and requirements for coverage have increased along with the trend towards limiting systemic risk. In the context of these issues, the introduction of robust and future-proof cyberwar exclusion clauses is key.

The war clauses are a great step forward for the insurance industry regarding being able to control accumulation from what in effect is a risk that is uninsurable. The seminar focuses on the content of these clauses (especially on the LMA clauses) and illustrates the balancing effect on insurance books.

The aim is to demonstrate the advantages and pitfalls of cyberwar clauses.
