Q & A
Munich Re Art Gallery | September 2016 – August 2017
The exhibition will be developed over a period of several months. It starts with white walls. Little by little, text and works of art fill the space. A process of steady development and change begins. Text and image come into contact with each other and merge over time. The persistent momentum of the continuous change opens a forum that, in terms of content, grapples with the rapidly changing world (of work) and the role of the individual in this context.
Q&A is an invitation to deal impartially with the questions of the future and to open up to unusual impressions, outlooks and perspectives. No specific contexts are prescribed here: the art provides neither clear statements nor unambiguous answers to the questions. Rather, the encounter with the individual works and accompanying text makes possible an associative experiment which seeks to inspire and encourage new thinking.
Works of art from the Munich Re Art Collection and from the collection of the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus will be on display.
