Learned a lot, including Portuguese

As a trainee, Iñaki de la Sota Schütz was able to take a closer look at many areas of the Group. Every three months, a new adventure began for him: he was even in Colombia and Brazil. Since he hadn't yet known exactly where his professional journey would take him, the EXPLORE programme was an ideal way for Iñaki to find out.

Carla Havemann was very surprised when she realised what a big role innovation plays at Munich Re. One of her stints as an EXPLORER was at company that maintains close ties with start-ups. Nowadays, Carla devotes all her attention to ‘insuretechs’.
