Andreu Alfaro is a pioneer of constructive sculpture in Spain. For his sculptures, he often uses prefabricated parts, mainly of stainless steel square bars. From these steel bars, he creates round or square, open or closed forms, which dynamically capture space and set the viewer's eye in motion. Movement is also an underlying theme of his filigree iron sculptures whose contours are based on the human figure.
