The Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada is the new Full Partner of the Broker Identity Program for 2014

The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to welcome The Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada (HSB BI&I), part of Munich Re, as a Full Partner of the Broker Identity Program.

The program’s centre-piece is the BIP symbol known as the BIPPER. The symbol captures the value that insurance brokers bring their clients: choice, coverage, security and peace of mind. By investing in the program, HSB BI&I supports the campaign whose purpose is to raise awareness of the value of the insurance broker distribution network.

“The broker channel is important for HSB BI&I, our insureds, and our industry as a whole,” said Derrick Hughes, HSB BI&I Vice President. “We fully endorse IBAC’s efforts to advocate at the Federal level on behalf of P&C brokers and their customers.”

IBAC Chief Executive Officer Dan Danyluk added: “We are delighted that HSB BI&I is joining the Broker Identity Program as a Full Partner. The support of such a long term insurer is much appreciated.”

Launched 25 years ago, the mission of the Broker Identity Program is to promote the value and professionalism of the insurance broker to consumers, insurers and governments. It is a branding campaign for over 35,000 insurance brokers.
