2019 Fire Protection for Power Plants course

Instructors

HSB Professional Loss Control is a dynamic engineering consulting firm that provides a broad range of services in the field of fire protection engineering, including training presented by their experienced and qualified instructors. HSB PLC personnel have been involved in the development and presentation of over 140 courses and seminars on fire protection for power plants since 1977, and a major portion of the company's activities have centered on fire protection and risk management applied to the utilities industries throughout the United States and overseas.


These fire protection services have included developing fire hazard analyses, developing engineering design criteria, developing design specifications, reviewing engineering design, developing and presenting training programs, reviewing research and testing programs, developing detailed plant pre fire plans, and providing surveys and audit services. This experience provides us with a valuable understanding of fire hazards and current hazard control techniques available to the electric power generating industry.
