Dr. Achim Regenauer
is the Head of the CoCB and Munich Re's Chief Medical Director. He has authored several Munich Re brochures and represents the company at congresses and discussion forums focusing primarily on the significance of genetic engineering for life and health insurance. He also played a major role in drafting the German Insurance Association's Code of Conduct.

Dr. Joachim Bürger
who has been with Munich Re since 2001, is a specialist in human genetics. Before coming to Munich Re, he was the interim Head of the Department of Molecular Genetics at the Charité clinic in Berlin. He has considerable experience in all types of genetic testing and has published numerous papers based on his research into hereditary diseases. At Munich Re he studies the impact of genetic testing on life insurance.

Brigitte Engelhard
is an international agricultural biologist whose specialist areas are genetics, plant breeding and ecology. After completing her studies, she trained as an environmental consultant for companies. She has been in Munich Re's agricultural department since 1990 as an underwriter for various regions and a member of the Centre of Competence for Biosciences since 2003.
