As one of the world's leading reinsurer, we are fully versant with the identification of risks and assessment of their effects. Munich Re has always kept a close watch on changes in the risks relevant to the Group - and that naturally includes changes in environment and society. Issues such as global climate change, renewable energies or water shortages are therefore always the focal point of a comprehensive risk assessment.
