    Venue

On-site seminar at Munich Re’s Seminar Centre, Munich/Germany

    General description

In advance of the 1/1 renewals, this seminar highlights selected relevant factors and developments that significantly influence the cover design and pricing process of traditional reinsurance (treaty).

    Contents

These factors include, for example, macroeconomic scenarios such as a persistently high level of inflation, but also various insurance-related topics such as “silent cyber”, political risks, the modelling of natural hazards and the importance of data analytics.

As current economic conditions pose a particular challenge for reinsurance buyers, these topics will be a focus of the seminar. All seminar topics relate to their significance and impact on traditional reinsurance in the main lines of property, casualty and marine.

A detailed agenda will be available in due course.

    Level

Participants must be familiar with the basic functions of traditional proportional (Quota, Surplus) and non-proportional (Working/Cat-XL) forms of cover.

    Target group

Managers of primary insurance companies with Property, Casualty, Marine or cross-line responsibility for underwriting, managing and/or purchasing traditional treaty reinsurance.
