Staff culture

We are proud that our staff attaches just as much importance to continuity as we do, a fact confirmed by the statistics: good working conditions lead to employee satisfaction. The average length of service among our employees is 11.8 years. Over 68% of our employees have been with Munich Re for more than five years, and more than 40% have served the company for more than 10 years. At 3.5%, our fluctuation rate is rather low.

We work with over 5,000 clients in around 150 countries and are represented by subsidiaries and offices at over 50 locations around the world. The overwhelming majority of our employees abroad are natives of the respective country, supported by 110 delegates from Munich.
